    Check your PhpMyAdmin.
    In most cases,it is "localhost"

    When you log in your PhpMyAdmin,The Bold Letters Above(Left),state your Database Server Name.

    it says there localhost.
    But when i try this db server name in phplink installation(i need this for directory script installation) i get errors such as
    The database server returned the following message:

    Access denied for user 'linkb'@'localhost' to database 'linkb'

    Linkb is the mysqldb user.

    Have you grab all the necessary permissions on this user?(READ-WRITE)
