Hi there I have some kind of Entertainment Site (Videos, Music, Jokes, ...). On all of this pages I have placed adsense. I would like to expand the domain also in the "explicit" area and in order to keep this separated I will have a "erotic.domain.tld"-Subdomain. I will not place adsense on these pages of course. So my question for all the experienced Adsense-TOS-Specialists out there: Is this allowed? Do you have any experience in such a construct? Thank you very much and kind regards from Vienna Andreas.
Given that you won't display ads on that particular page(s) you are probably safe to use it. Google treats subdomains as separate entities eg. mycars.blogspot.com is something entirely different than kitchen.blogspot.com and probably from another author too. As long as you use a subdomain you should be fine, but then again you most likely want to link to this subdomain from your main page where you have ads, which is considered "linking to bad neighborhood". For that you might get penalized. As you see you are entering a dangerous zone. You might want to reconsider your topics and maybe expand into a different direction.

But of course you're right, this whole "bad neighborhood" (and this adsense on the other subdomain stuff) is currently the reason why I haven't started yet. You mentioned that google treats subdomains as whole new domains. That's also my state of knowledge. But I've read somewhere that Matt Cutts wrote in the near future google will treat subdomains in the same manner as subdirectories. Keep adsense off of porn pages. The only other thing (non-adsense related) you need to consider is linking: if you have links to the porn from your pages with adsense on it how will that affect your clicks (i.e. people see link to porn and just click "back" instead of a relevant ad). I know people who have made great money out of porn and I say "good for them", but it is it's own niche and it can scare off people who would otherwise be good repeat clickers.

well of course you can , dailymotion.com is one of the biggest example they have adsense and at the sex videos they don't put ads ! and they work 4 years and adsense don't mind have a nice Erotica !!! look ! wanna make money at the porn !! Adbrite at that pages !!
It doesn't work that way in AdSense. For somereason if they dicided to stop displaying ads for a part of site. Then they simply stop displaying ads for the whole site. This is something I learnt by experiences. The best way is use separate domain.
i think it's ok, google just tell you that you cant put google ads in porn site but dont tell you cant put your ads code to subdomain that other is porn site. For exam: A free subdomain service like no-ip.com or freedns.afraid.org can have a million subdomain, and i'm sure at least 1 of them is porn site. If google dont allow, then when have for exam domain1.no-ip.com is your site and other like domain10.no-ip.com is porn site. Then, if other sub domain like domain1, domain2, domain... .no-ip.com cant use adsense in their site? No, i dont think so. That's stup*d. And i think everything is ok, if you dont put ads code in porn site and you do follow their TOS
porn and matured pic are mot allowed but sexy pic is allowed... if found by google.. u may not be ban.. warning only.. just my 2 cents experience ..
