I just have to start this thread and I guess EVERY single seller here can understand me. I see people getting banned everywhere without any reason (I can find in their posts) but members begging in EVERY thread for free reviews get away with this. If I was a seller I would have gone crazy long time ago because of those people just asking for "FREE REVIEWS" on anything (even if it is absolutely senseless to give a review for things all those members know here: sorry, but don´t have an example at the moment). Sellers post their requirements for a review or state how many reviews will be given out and people even ask 3 pages later for a free review. What´s this? I don´t know where all those live but where I am coming from people don´t go to a shop and ask for a "free review" (and the best: those asking for reviews don´t even have the money to pay for it after reviews have been given and everything is fine), and this not just on one shop, no, at EVERY shop although there is no intension to buy. And if they don´t get what they want starting to "blackmail" sellers and calling them scammers and so on. It´s 100% understandable sellers get angry anytime after being called a scammer from a stupid member only looking for freebies. And if they (sellers) react like EVERY normal guy/gal (not the most friendly way of course) and their language becomes some kind of rude to those who destroy their business they even get infractions. Something is wrong here!!! Those beggers should get infractions for this too if they ask for a (free) review although requirements are stated in the very first post (or latest after some answers from OP) The same I think about members calling sellers "SCAMMERS" although in the sellers thread many different buyers post they are happy with the product they bought. They destroy sellers business and make them loose LEGIT money (mostly) but can go on with this and don´t even get an infraction. But people in "payment processing" folder asking for experiences on different exchangers(not even for an exchange here at DP) (what definitely has to do with payment processing) they get banned Sorry, I had to start this thread because the "hate" became" too big in me reading all those posts. If anyone thinks this is a reason now for a ban or infractions: I can live with it (but I know Many sellers think the same like I do) Regards
this is in wrong forum if you want to make money you get angry customers same as you have a shop selling ice cream correct. If you stop sell you have no problem
Yet another stupid reply. To the OP. I truly understand the furious and anger as a observer as well as a seller. Some people just too poor to pay for what they desire; it's similar to buying without paying. I once selling an ebook which costs $12, and yet people are begging for free reviews which resulted in a several identical pages. Since I found out people are so pathetic to pay for what they want, so I reduced it $6. What amazed, they said my ebook is probably a copy-paste job after ages of begging and begging me and I refused to let it go. But anyway, you should have anticipated this and have to hold your anger, they cant be accused of breaking the rules, this isn't any offense to the rule of this forum. Just don't be one of them
Take this guy for example,did not read the main post and and just posted.I think the guy "King_tycoon" was latest victim of this,many idiots posted on his thread that what he is selling is scam without even knowing the method,all those idiots said filling leads yourself is against network,i agree but what about those balckhat methods which they use,are they not against network as leads coming from those are almost fake. So i agree with u,those who post on thread asking for reviews or posting against the OP or his method without buying it should be banned immediately.

No, I don´t think so even if I am not selling anything. And if I have to sell anything that this thread can stay here then you can buy my contact for 5.01$. None of there persons I speak about will ever look to any other folder then the B/S/T because there is nothing they could get for free besides an opinion. So this definitely belongs here. @ getjimmy: thanks, i always knew you will be one of those people who understand me although u r one like me who almost never sells (i didn´t see u anytime since i am here) anything And about king_tycoon: this is the best example: Everyone can come in here and call the seller names and if a reaction follows the seller gets banned (although not only 1 happy customer)
I agree entirely with everything you say Hellfire81. The official line is that people can only ask for a review when the OP has indicated that reviews are available. If that's not the case then infractions are likely if the post is reported. But I remember about a year ago when review copies were almost unheard of here - now everyone wants something for free. We even have 10 post members having the audacity to ask for review, which is plainly absurd. I personally have never asked for a review - even as someone who has been here a while I don't think I'm entitled to a free lunch. As for members branding other members scammers without proof - that too is against the rules - not only of DP but also of society. One senior (although not what I'd call reputed) member had the arrogance to think he could do just that last week and he was swiftly dealt with.
Remotay!?! About the reviews: I don´t have a problem if a member, who has knowledge about a specific thread asks for a review. But if members ask in EVERY thread for free reviews just to get something for free to make "fast money" and never bought ANYTHING I get really angry. Why should they get for free for what other people have searched. Hope those people will get banned soon too. But the B/S/T folder will be very empty then (maybe 10% left)
Can I get a free review copy please And I will call you a scammer if you don't give me btw ive seen the same issue, another isse that needs to be taken care of is "paid reviews", I don't mean the buyer has to pay for a review copy, Instead the seller pays 2-3 people in order to post fake reviews so that they can get their sales going, Those jerks who post fake reviews don't care about how much loss someone else may be going into as long as they make a few bucks.
I think em' "can i get a review copy?" should get banned or i don't know. Let people who buy stuff leave the review.
IMO no one should ask for review copy.If the seller wants then he may ask reputable members to give review on his product by PM.
I agree 100% and I have complained about it before. It is normally the same members doing it over and over again. There is suppose to be infractions for it but many sellers do not report it because it is a free bump for their thread. Unless reviews are offered in the OP, anyone asking for a review should be given an infraction. As far as the scammer threads, they should be closed and infractions given unless proof is provided in the OP. Here is an example http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=850930. There is not even a member that shows up in search by the name given. The thread is also in the wrong forum and was never changed.
I think people asking for a review copy when one is offered is totally acceptable. If I am interested in a product or service and see someone offering a review, I would probably take it as it would help me make my mind up whether the service is worth while or not. That said, I do not believe in 'Free Lunches' as CountryBoy pointed out earlier on. What I normally do to make my mind up about a service is buy the smallest package avaliable and decide once I have seen the results.
Like I said: here in General Chat this thread doesn´t interest ANYONE and it´s death after some days. Even the worst selling thread gets more posts because of those people.
