This suxxxx.... Just Like Microsoft they are trying to take over everything that might be lucrative and there will only be bread crumbs over for other web sites. Their index will only have blogs, articles and other sites that Google isn't interested in (yet) since they don't generate any money for Google and their ads... Could it be that Google sees what generates money through their AdSense and then decides that this is a good market and decides to create their own revenue generating web sites? Are we AdSense publishers just BETA testers for Google?

what industry in not touched by google?
and whatever industry google has entered will take out 50% of the competition

 

I think googles basic business plan is to take over the whole internet.

Soon it will be the googlenet. Not the internet.

 

It seems to make sense to me.

with a company mission to organize all of the information in the world, it would make sense to expand into each specific niche that they can.

It seems that these could prove to be an incredible resource for the end user and marketer alike (including G).

 

Is this Google version of Craigslist, powered by the capability to show results to surfers within their search results ? Looks like it.

 

At least google does everything well. I woulden't mind seeing some of these things pass the beta phase.

 

Wow is there anything google won't try to get there hands in. I guess it could be a good thing or bad.

 

This is all very cool stuff there making but the real service im waiting for them to take out is the Google wallet.

I hate to see google trying to do everything and then some.
it would be better if they stick to search and to that right, instead of trying to get everyone out of business

Looks like Google is trying to become Microsoft's monopoly replica.
They lost their way long a while, and get ready for "Google Breathing for life Beta", I'm afraid.
