Domain names with hyphes or not

    do you think it is best to have a domain name with hyphens or without?

    How important is the order of the keywords?

    You can use a delimiter if the standard version isn't availiable, however if the version with hypens is availiable then go with that one. There are some instances where not using a delimiter can bring an issue. Lets view the possiblity for one below.

    Expertsexchange.com
    - Experts Exchange
    - Expert Sex Change

    So, review the keywords in your domain name and see if anything conflicting can come about; order of the keywords is important but not a major factor, you'll see better results if they are in the same order as the search phrase.

    a site on red teddy bears

    which is "better" meaning if all other SEO was equal but domain name

    red-teddy-bears.com

    redteddybears.com

    redteddybears.net

    bears-red-teddy
