My Domain or Namecheap, 1&1 sucks and try to hold your domains hostage.

That's very interesting... I was thinking about buying from 1&1 because the price... but I suppose I won't now that I see they aren't so liked.

Go, go daddy! I don't know, i had bad experience with 1and1, their support is very dumb, sometimes you have to tell them the same thing 20 times before they take any action.
On the other hand, godaddy is pretty good. I haven't even used their customer service, everything is pretty easy to do. And if you lurk for some promotional codes you can get your domains (.com) registered and renewed for 7 bucks instead of 10. Price is still not the cheapest, you may find domain names for $5 or so, but i'm telling you buying domains for some extra price on godaddy, those $2 will be the best extra 2 dollars you'll ever spend on domains :)
There are plenty of domain registrars. RegisterFly, Moniker
Moniker.com is good for bulk domain checks/registrations!

    Go Daddy is the best!

1&1 is the best to buy .info's from though...

I use to register the domains with popular keywords using Godaddy, Coz i dont want to take chances, For normal unusual domains i use 1&1....For domain parking i use sedo even the godaddy registered domains coz of highest pay rates

1&1 sucked, bad. Never tried godaddy yet but do have a domain thru them. I use fireballhost for my hosting. They are very friendly people there. I also use hostgator and hostnine...Hostgator they always want u to submit a ticket, hostnine it just takes forever to get anything answered.

1and1 for .co.uk extensions, Godaddy \ Namecheap for all other extensions.

I know what people are saying about 1and1 and it can be frustating waiting for a domain transfer etc but they certainly don't try to keep your domains hostage they just don't offer instant transfers. In terms of the UK market 1and1 are known as the largest domain \ host business so I can see why alot of people would use them in the UK.
