I agree, I've often thought about this. The world may come to an end, what can we do for 18+ hours a day with nothing?
Honestly I dont think many people would wanna live lol. There would be more sucide deaths even tho this sounds extreme i bet there would be.
I'd be a hell of a lot happier I can tell you that. I was without a computer for over 6 years. Technology has ruined society. It has helped in a lot of ways but it has ruined society none the less. I can fend for myself but these people that sat and watched TV, played video games, and surfed the internet and that is all they did they won't know what to do. They can't hunt or fish or farm. I'm an old country boy myself and I can survive.
With NO technology, I would farm, hunt, and read. If we just lost modern technology, I think I would resort to piracy. Yarr!
what are we doing using these technologies? We watch the shows on TV, if no TV, we may go to theater to watch shows if we have money and leisure, we do not chat online any more, we go to bars or clubs or friends' home, and even we may live in a big family because we need supports of others more than when we have technology, I think the essential of society is interactions between people for both recreation and competition for society resources, it will never change, so never technology but human being is our source of happiness and sadness, if we have basic living materials.
i would be selling farm tools and fishing stuff... would have already sold them to about the last 20 posters that posted in this thread.
if i have no technology i would be bored. and technology is mostly used by everyone. without technology i have to do things with my own hands and it will take more time.
