Jailed shell access

I requested SSH access from my host and they said "jailed shell" has now been enabled. I searched around a bit but there's not a lot of info out there on how to use this. Does anyone how have a guide or advice on this?

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. Basically I guess my host doesn't find me trustworthy:)

Normally for shared environment, you should be happy that you have jailed shell as most provider do not provide shell access for security reason :)

For security reasons most host provides just jailed shell access on their shared servers, if you want shell access you will have to move to dedicated or VPS.
I think jailed access is sufficient for a shared user;)

Well, it helps to have a good reason to need SSH access.

I would never provide SSH access to any of my customers, without a good reason from them.
