I requested SSH access from my host and they said "jailed shell" has now been enabled. I searched around a bit but there's not a lot of info out there on how to use this. Does anyone how have a guide or advice on this?
Why would you want to know what Lola is doing after work? Thanks for the thread. Was looking for this info. too.
Normally for shared environment, you should be happy that you have jailed shell as most provider do not provide shell access for security reason
For security reasons most host provides just jailed shell access on their shared servers, if you want shell access you will have to move to dedicated or VPS. I think jailed access is sufficient for a shared user
Well, it helps to have a good reason to need SSH access. I would never provide SSH access to any of my customers, without a good reason from them.
