    Hi

While browsing the net I run across this website - what is happening, what's with this Georgia font?

Google are experimenting with the following fonts:

    Georgia
    Comic-Sans
A third one who's name escapes me...

Anyway, they have been doing this for at least a week now. My sites are also showing ads in these fonts, quite regularly too. I am a normal adsense member and do not have the ability to customise these fonts, sadly. Earnings and CTR seem to be at the same rates as before the new fonts appeared however.

Glad someone caught this on a screenshot. I saw it about two weeks ago, and it does appear Google is experimenting with the fonts just as they did with the scrolling ads.

It sure would be nice if publishers could choose the font.

Good job in documenting this. + rep added

I personally don't like other fonts like Georgia font (for ads).

Anyway, its good to see google doing different experiments with their ads :)

    Thanks for the Rep.
Indeed, allowing publishers to use different fonts would be a good thing.
