Helium.com has their own revenue sharing method. They don't share via Adsense. You must reach $25 before they pay you via PayPal. *ahem! Notice sig?
Do you mean personal in terms of: A - "I walked my dog today, then went to Taco Bell" B - A blog written by a single person, about non-personal topics (finance, games, etc). Option A is tough to make much money from. However, a lot of one-man operations make good money writing blogs on their own. In terms of revenue sharing, I find that private partnerships work best. I have a few sites where I work with a handful of specific people and we all work toward growing the site, then split the ad impressions. Those are making very good money. I also participate in some large-scale revenue sharing (like in the list I posted near the beginning of the thread), and while some of them make a little money, none are major earners.
had read sometime back even google is coming out with knol , a wiki with revenue sharing model... i guess in couple of years..users will be paid for using any of the internet services
That's a very interesting idea! I like it. Especially if the sites are complimentary toward one another. Nice!
well,my forum is set up to give the following http://www.affiliatelink.org/ Percent For Thread Starter:70 Percent For Thread Last Poster:20 Percent For Admin:10 not realley 100%,but close to it..i also allow sigs and banners
If 100% is given to the poster, what would the forum owner get? I am sure there is a catch Anyways I offer 50% chance to posters on my forum webcosmoforums.com
Some forums (WTF comes to mind) have 100% but only for one or two add blocks. They probably make their money from other advertising (non-Adsense) and other offerings. The revenue sharing attracts users and posts, while they make the majority of the money from other things.
how a webmaster earns if user gets 100%? In that case the website needs to monetize through other option to make a pure revenue sharing website.
In the case of a most blogs, the user gets 100% on their posts only. The webmaster earns revenue on the main page, the category pages, the tag pages, etc.
mickmel: did you try your adsense on Nachofoto? I would recommend you to use it for couple of days then we can continue here. Believe me it shows unbelievable results!
So does it break googles TOS for using ad sharing programs for google adsense? I mean I would hate to get into trouble over something so small.
colochris: this should make it clear https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=48182 It officially allowed by google.
I use my google adsense on other sites like linkinn and Nachofoto.com I was wondering if google pays the same CTR as the web master gets form google when he uses his own adsense??
