http://www.lunarpages.com is down. All their shared servers appear to be down as well. Anyone know what's going on?
NS1 and 2 servers back up, NS6 and 7 server sites still down. Lunar forums back up. The MINIMUM amount of time my sites were down - 5 hours.
I now have access to everything. Lost money today though. I think I need to move some sites to another hosting company. It's scary to wake up and find your entire network of sites down. I'm so glad I didn't have any Adwords campaigns running.
As a matter of fact, it did. Their data center's air conditioner broke down and they had to shutdown their servers because they were starting to overheat. http://www.lunarforums.com/lunarpag.../ac_power_unit_in_la_datacenter-t47914.0.html
With the crude oil prices breaking records day after day and a hot summer, I guess their costs probably will escalate a lot.
It's May. We haven't even hit the hottest part of the year, yet. I wouldn't mind so much, but I just got several new sites listed Saturday and they're gone this morning (Monday.) Whether that's just Google playing peek-a-boo with the sandbox, or as a direct result of not being able to find them yesterday, I don't know. HVAC repair and maintenance is a common repair issue for most buildings...but I expected better service from LP once they were in their new data center. I'm just upset that none of my sites were online for 5+ hours on Sunday. Things like that make me a little crazy.
Oops, that doesn't sound good I just signed up for their SUMMER offer! Hope that they put me on their cooler machines....
