Michael, Dazzling Donna, Barry Schwartz and most of the old crew at seochat.com are some of the most brilliant minds I have read and listened to when I started......

I was talking about Gray, but I was quoting sweetfunny by saying that I agree with what Gray said whole-heartedly.

Umm...the very nature of an algorithm is that it's a set of rules. If you know the rules you can use them to your advantage...or in other words SEO.

My advice to the OP is that he should take about 2 seconds to think about what he reads before spewing it to others. Will his next post be telling us that the local Mexican restaurant is serving cats?

I think that SEO will continue to change dramatically over the next few years and will require us to change and keep up with the times.

I do agree with the premise that Google will continue to use the Google Toolbar, Adwords/Adsense information, and Analytics to be significant factor in SERPs.

Part of that is search term used and duration of time spent on the site/pages. I see this already happening for certain pages on my sites. *A little trick is to do searches for your targeted keywords and spend time on your site, from different computers/IPs. Couple that with anchor text linking, etc and you'll tend to rank well. :)

As long as there will be organic search results SEO will have a strong future :) Seems a good linkbait post by Shoe.

A future, yes, and a very different future from what we are used to now. No big deal, it has been changing every year.

It's the people on the leading edge of the SEO learning curve that will always be in the best position. Stagnate and get left behind.

That is funny, a bit easy to manipulate....just a matter of time till we see the new threads "Outsource to us to increase time spent per visitor, multiple ip's"

Some of us are doing that already :D

But what won't work is outsourcing to a country where the vistors originate from the wrong IP

Of course most will miss this point and outsource their site to the wrong country and get themselves filtered for artificial clicking.

    ;)
