No stats program is 100% accurate. Google Analytics is about as close as you will get for accuracy as far as traffic stats goes. If you need to monitor conversion rates, then Analytics isn't that great...

I use Google Analytics and Awstats, which is installed on most cpanel hosting plans.

I was going to ask, what type of hosting do you have? There should be a little icon and link in your panel that says Web Stats or something like that. It's pretty accurate and has lots of information on it.

What works best with Blogger? I loved the Wordpress stats before I had to move a few months ago and currently, I'm blind in terms of traffic and stats for my blogs. Thanks for any insight.

I use SmarterStats from SmarterTools, it looks cool and performed much better compared to Webabalizer or Awstats.

You must "register" each site you want monitored by Analytics. You will be
given a unique snippet of code to add to each site.

Same with StatCounter and most other site tracking code.

You need to verify each site with google analytics. The verification code is placed so that others unrelated to your site can't track your statistics. With adsense, nobody would try to give you credit for ads on sites you don't own however, with analytics there is the possibility of info mining and fraudulent info gathering.

Hope this helps... Best & Take Care!

I like awstats best, but Google Analytics is really good too. Google Analytics is sometimes a little bit low, but I think mostly it's really accurate (and maybe all of the other stats programs are high).
