Anchor text and SEO

I thought to write this article as I understood something about anchor text.
To get higher rankings at SERP you must use anchor text.

If you use just a link(URL), then if someone were looking for your site, would find the site but just your URL not your content.
If you write an anchor text as a Hyperlink than if someone was looking for that anchor text through SE(for a special keyword), would find your content not your URL.

    And related to:

    Thats confusing. :)

Anchor text helps but is not necessary for rankings and people can find your content with 0 links and 0 anchor texts. Think thats the easiest way to say it.

yeah, people can find it, but only by searching very specifically for your page. if you want to rank for NON specific keywords then you have to build god link strength

Content Matters with keywords . If your page is keyword rich Google will give you #1 position for the keywords you wish your page to be but if you write only one keyword and think your site would get decent amount of traffic or SEO like thing you are wrong.

Wrong, a web page can rank #1 for a keyword or phrase and not even have that keyword appear once on the web page; this has been tested and proven time and time again. Keyword stuffing is a negative to search engines and keyword density is non-sense, do some research.

SEO is a difficult game. Search Google for your targeted keywords and have a look at TOP 10 websites listed at page 1. Compare this websites to your.

I recommend you to learn about SEO, hire a professional or buy specialized software.

Do a Google search for my name - Aaron Nimocks

You will see sites on the first page that dont have that text anywhere on the site.

Anchor does count big time, I can personally vouch for that. However, getting a ton of the links with the exact same anchor text within a short amount of time will definitely have a negative effect on your SERPs.

Let's say you wanted to rank for 'blue widgets'. IMHO the best way to go about this is to get a lot of one-way backlinks over a lengthy period of time, and instead of using the anchor text 'blue widgets' for every single link, you want to include both of those words, 'blue' and 'widgets' in various phrases. Ex: 'blue widget information', 'the difference between blue and gray widgets', 'the best blue widgets'.

Now of course you will want to have the majority of links that just say 'blue widgets', but do not get these links all at one time. Spread it out and it will help in the long run.
