How can I see every term my site ranks for? I tried out SEODIGGER.COM but am not too impressed, as it seems its some sort of dated archive. Any suggestions?

I don't think this is possible given the infinite combinations of keywords any given site could potentially rank for.

It's difficult to figure out every term you site ranks for, as there could be many thousands of combinations based on your content and volume.

Keep an eye on your stats, and look at the queries which are driving traffic to your website. Try a tool like http://www.hittail.com to monitor your longtail keywords.

does seodigger actually do what he's asking though? you can put in a url and it will return ALL of the terms your site is indexed by Google for? i've never heard of anything doing this.

It's impossible. Think about it. Your site could rank for any combination of words on your page. The possibilities are almost infinite.

No, seo digger only shows terms which your site ranks in the top 20 for. From the seodigger homepage:

"With Seodigger.com you can find out for which keywords your site ranks high enough to be in Google Top 20"

lol no, there's this nifty tool in cPanel called Awstats and it's even free. It will show you every term that sent you a visit, if you do rank for something and it doesn't show in Awstats it means it's sent zero traffic so it's not worth worrying about.

    Simple.

seodigger tries but doesn't quite get it. On the few tests I did, it showed me rankings of keywords we don't even try for, yet missed several of the top ones we rank for! lol

IMHO geo seo is a good start :)

    seowarrior is correct.

You can not, and google can not, accurately predict every conceivable search query that may result in your site coming up somewhere in the 20billion or whatever possible results.

To know every term your site HAS come up for that resulted in a visit to your site, look at your access logs, both raw and error.

Unless google gives you the information in the google webmaster tools, showing you every single time your listing showed up in a listing they displayed, then you wont know. Just because Google may show you what visitors it SENT you, doesnt mean your site listing did not come up (it just wasnt clicked on).

This would have to be repeated for every search engine......them giving you not results for clicks to your site, but what page was viewed that had your listing........and give you that query.

I doubt this is done. Somebody know something I dont? I would love the search engines to give me this data.

you can only really see every single keyword that is actually sending traffic and where you rank for that...which is pretty much all you need to know anyways.

Whether you "try" for it or not should have no bearing on whether or not you rank for a term.

Set up a google analytics account. It will give you stats on every keyword that brought a visitor to your site through all the major search engines. It won't tell you every keyword, but it'll tell you what the important ones are.
