Research "bum Marketing" to get the details. Another thing that the search engines love is fresh content. If you add content regularly to your site you will be on the right track. ALso, Squidoo lenses and hubpages get indexed quickly by Google and you can make a fairly brief site there and link them to your main site. Social bookmarking at sites like Digg, Stumbleupon, MySpace, Facebook, Zenzuu, etc can bring in traffic. PPC advertising can bring in the most traffic quickly, but of course it is not free and you need to study it to get the best results. Commenting on other sites related to your subject will also build links. So will posting on forums.... There are a lot of things you can do, most of them take some time and effort. Others spent hundreds of dollars in promotion of new blogs. These includes directory submissions, blog and forum postings, and even dummy posting. These paid methods are actually less effective compared to free advertising if you are doing it right. So what I am doing with this blog? Why I am getting traffic without paying anything? I am going to enumerate the things I have done regarding the promotion of this site. If you are just starting your own blog and don’t want to spend any amount in promotion, you may follow some of the following simple fee ways.
