Can anyone explain me thementic optimization????

How does it help in improving SERPs??

If possible please give me an example so it will be very helpful for me to understand the basics.

It's optimizing a Web site for the main topic, product, or service of a Web site. An example would be optimizing a Web site about Photoshop tutorials so that the pages about Photoshop tutorials would rank well for the search terms related to it.

Pretty much, yeah. In other words, it's another over-glorified term that was created by someone trying to impress another with his/her level of knowledge. (The concept, however, has its origins in information architecture.)

 

It's basically making sure your site is all about one theme. Make sure that your major pages are sub topics of the theme and that the keywords relating to your theme are all throughout your site...not just on the home page.

If you set up a google webmaster tools account you can see what google thinks your theme is from the "what googlebot sees" link. It will tell you which words google finds in your site and incoming links. You can use the data to fine tune your theme.

Sounds to me like a combination of good SEO and common sense. All sites are pretty much based on one theme, then the pages within are different subsets of that theme. Those pages, of course, should focus on keywords related to that particular theme. That's a basic principle of SEO and it probably shouldn't even have it's own phrase.

No, semantics has to do with how the information is presented. The "theme" in respect to search engine optimization merely means the topic that the site will cover (or the product/service it will try to sell).

I think an example will clarify the situation:

Thematic optimization:

I have a web site about food. My pages must talk about food. If I create some pages that talk about furniture, I have not a thematic optimized web site.

Semantic:

In a web site you must use the tag as they has been created.
A title of a page must be

But they are other examples about semantic.

 

Thematic optimization is a stupid word that can be thrown out. I actually never want to hear this word again, and I'll never use it. Ever.
