.biz domain and google ranking que.

my client have business of chemical products

.com domain is not available but .biz is available

so can i purchase .biz?

is .biz hurt google ranking

 

Why? There is certain advantage of .edu and .gov domains - but little difference between .biz and .com domains...

 

There is no advantage to any extensions. but .com does look more professional to the customers

 

is it possible to optimise another countries domain e.g. .es in the uk?

 

I recommand not to buy BIZ domain if .COM is not available
try different domain name

because many general people even doesn't know there are few domain names like .BIZ, .US etc !!

so stick to COM

Biz does not have many difference as .com
but .info has slightly different as .com because of the price. Google discriminate first year .info if you do not have nice backlink

all I know is that I have never seen a .biz anywhere near page 1 of SERPs. I cannot even name one popular .biz site, either.

 

.BIZ is good for business related site. bt me too prefer .com if possible bt for most case .com is not possible. I myself choose .us then or for other ppl country lever domain.

I suggest you buy the .biz domain.

i bought this domain(wordpressthemes.biz) a year ago and it got pr4 after the first pr update. i see that it is pr3 but the domain is in parking system for 8 months. and the site was on top 20 for the keyword "wordpress themes". that means, .biz is not bad.

note: i sold that domain.

 

Probably just because there aren't nearly as many. I'm using one .biz domain and its got #2 on the front page for a target keyword, up against a lot of pages that are 1-2 years older and more established.
