    Hi
I have a typical problem. I was ranked well on some of my industry keywords.
I have got PR3 recently on my site.
My problem is recently google has stopped displayed my website title and description in search results.
Also I have lost my keyword ranking or pushed a lot back than earlier for keywords I was targetting.
    What could be the reason?

Consider checking your robots.txt and make sure it is not blocking any Googlebot.

    Hi

if you are talking about this site sharmainfoway.com

so i Guess, you've got only 8 backlinks from google, so it depends on your keywords and competitions.

you've used more than 100 characters in title of your site so also double check and think about all the points of on page.

    Thanks
    John

if the title/description isn't relevant to the search query some times it will use parts of the text on the page.

I am simply typing my company name and my website is on first page. I believe its relevant query.
My major problem is I have lost my keyword ranking and I think this could be the issue because All my back links are alive and there were no onsite changes done.

    Yes mahendera,

Google will show you 604 back links in webmaster account external links of your site which you've got from social bookmarking, article etc...

but try to check with link:http://www.sharmainfoway.com so google will show you only 8 backlinks and i think, you need to get more backlinks for offshore software development related keywords.

but i've just checked so your site's results are coming 712 in google.
    http://www.google.co.uk/search?hl=e...256&q=www.sharmainfoway.com&btnG=Search&meta=

actually if you want to target software and offshore related search terms so you need to work hard on your business site because there is lots of webmasters are trying to achirve target.

    Thanks
    John

John, You are correct, working hard is good but my question is still there.
Why would google drop my title and detail from search results and why all of a sudden the ranking drops?

Drop your title? I still believe that what you mean is you have lost rankings, even tho "drop my title" makes me think of something totally different.

How old is your site? How competitive is the keyword you are targeting? For how long you were ranking? What changes did you recently made before the ranking dropped?

sorry but link: doesn't mean anything, it takes Google alot of time to update your backlinks that's why dnscoop and other websites that try and count your backlinks use Yahoo and not Google for the backlink count.

I mean here that Google normally displays the title of the website and description when the websiet appears in search results. In my case it doesn't appear. Google only displays my website URL if I search for my website on google using website name only.
Now when I search for keywords I was ranked on page two or three, there is no ranking now, I am either pushed back to pages above 10 or I am dropped for rankign at all.
I believe the reason could be that google has not indexed my title and description in recent crawl.

My website is 1 year old now.
I did make some changes in keywords and description by adding new keywords and replacing some other keywords.

I found that your index or home page of site has been de-index from database. if you check site:www.sharmainfoway.com/index.html you will not fine index.html in SERPs.

You have done keyword stuff on the page its reason that page has been de-index. try to fix, submit home page in bookmark and wait for result
