Flying the flag (IMO) is meaningless if you don't know the story of Francis Scott Key. How many people who fly the flag know what he wrote and understand it? Patriotism has become ritualism, not spiritualism.
Not at all, I think you have a brilliant mind. Many things that you bring up, I have never even heard of, and I have to go research. I don't really like debating or arguing that much, but I love to learn about things that I was unaware of. For some, patriotism is just a feeling. The flag is a symbol of our country, they love America, and it is as simple as that. To know the history, is much more meaningful though. I would suggest to Mr. Bush to choose a special day during the special month of May. 11th May would be my advice as this is the day that the control freaks will legally control the herds. Another suggestion for Mr. Bush would be to change the country's name. I'm on the fence between USrael or the JewSA.
