If you haven’t already heard the news about Google Tv Ads then your in luck and I am here to share the news with you. While I don’t know all the details about the program for myself yet as I haven’t tried it I hear its really good for business.

    How it works

Using the familiar AdWords interface, you can launch a TV advertising campaign in minutes.

    1. Select desired networks, dayparts, and programs.

    • Choose as many networks as you like with no bundling and no commitment.
    • Better manage a fragmented audience with easy access to small networks

    2. Upload and select your ad.

    • Check that your ad meets our technical specifications and then upload your ad to your account.
    • If you don’t have an ad, use the Ad Creation Marketplace to connect with specialists who can produce your TV commercial.

    3. Set a budget and bid the max CPM that you are willing to pay.

Use the traffic estimator for insight into how many impressions you can
    • expect to receive at the budget and price you set.
    • Pay the second highest bidders’ price for impressions delivered.
    • Change your bid as often as you like.

    4. Track and optimize.
    • Learn when and where your ads ran the next day.
    • See how many impressions your ad received.

To Fully understand the program we will all have to do some testing with it and report what we find, what do you think of Google Tv Ads? Do you believe it will be a big hit or is Google just wasting our time?

    Hey mate,
    good work with the snaps.
Let me tell something about google Tv ads no one is talking about:

Google fails to mention anywhere that these ads will only appear on the Dish satellite TV network, the only TV service that will allow Google to put its tracking software on its set-top boxes. The cable companies don’t want Google touching their set-top boxes.

Meanwhile, advertisers can already create and buy cheap TV ads across practically any cable network or local TV station through startup Spot Runner. Creating TV ads on Spot Runner is much cheaper, sometimes costing only a few hundred dollars. Google still has a lot of catching up to do in this arena, not just in reaching more TV homes but in better ad targeting.

Google is not selling targeted ads now on TV. It is selling national ads through the smallest company in the satellite space.

They’ll get there, but not yet.

    BTW, information from Techcrunch
    Cheers

it depends what you are advertising, time, etc.
