Thats crazy, they should have some other ways to protect their data. How about if google staff mistakenly transfers all adsense revenue to his/her personal account??

Thank mia, I wasn't aware about this unfortunately.

If they made the same boo boo with their main domain name, imagine the amount of traffic that would get diverted (at least for that short period of time until Google wrests it back) to anybody's website?

    What a windfall!

If they did that with their main domain it would be chaos! I wonder if a covert ops team from Yahoo is looking into this ? :)

Why can't they just recover the blog out of their supplemental index. They seem to have everyone else's site stuck in there for all time

I sometimes wonder if these blunders are not purposeful? I mean, bad press is sometimes better than good press, and certainly better than no press.

If I had any Google stocks, I'd sell them (and buy some AdWords click with the money :))
