Whats so user friendly with vista ? I find it quite troublesome the new explorer really sucks and it has performance problems like made.

No opensuse 10.3 is the only choice for me.

    Vista!!!!
I run vista on my laptop and no problems.

I like Linux, too but I don't continue using it as I can't run any apps that I always need, plus I can't figure out how to make it good looking. With linux the font is so huge and blurred, etc, etc..

Vista is just one type of the Windows versions.
Linux is a broad category of the different flavors of Linux.

    What an odd comparison.

Odd, I don't know any coders that use Linux. We code on PC or Mac and then put the code on a Linux server because that's what most servers are and because Linux looks like someone stepped on it and then gave it out for free.

Yes, Linux is more about servers, who's developing on it and why? I mean, why do you have to write C code in '70s style when you have more advanced IDEs and languages?

Window's is king of enterprise servers and desktop computers.

The only place where Linux reigns supreme is web servers etc..

    Simple..

Linux is far more stable, much more efficient at memory + resource management, and is black and white.

Vista ( Any Windows product ) is more popular simply because it is mainstream and every application developed these days is pretty much built for Windows.

But with applications like Wine and Cedega, Most applications can be run through it ( Photoshop, Steam Games, Etc... )
