Home Page having 5 Different Layouts - Need Tracking Help

Discussion in 'Search Engine Optimization' started by mobileshub, May 1, 2008.

I have one website its home page having 5 different layouts changing randomly every time but the link remains the same.

My question is how can I track that which visitor has seen which layout out of 5.

As the link is same how can i track the number of visitors per layout?

Is there any free tracking tool for it which can give me the cache page snapshot along with the visitors details?

Thanks in advance for your answers

Google has a sevice available that will let you test different versions of Web pages to see which ones convert the best. I forget what it's called though (since I haven't used it yet). Let me check my Google Webmasters' account and see if I can find it for you.

Edit: It's called Google Website Optimizer

Use any of the split testing tools available. If you do a Google search you will find plenty of them..
