Please review my $2k website: Feedback appreciated

I also noticed a rendering problem in FF. though it went away when I refreshed.

The designing company I hired, asked for $1300 as the cost of this project but then I kept asking them to add more as I was unable to give complete information in beginning. I changed a couple of Payment Gateway providers from MoneyBookers to CCNOW and then from CCNOW to 2CO. Everything added upto the project and for me, it ended up at $2k. I know that may look a bit too much, but considering it was my first project and first time dealing with a designing firm, I'm still happy

I really have thought over this, to remove the counter, but I really want the users to know the truth. So, I don't mind if people think its a new site. I mean, I don't wish that I get submissions just because the VISITOR COUNT shows a big number. I need submissions ONLY if a submitter 'thinks' its a nice site and the services provided are good. So, I guess, I will let the counter show the truth

Ah! Thats some really bad problem and I'm going to get after my designer's life. When the site is first opened with FF, things do not fall in place. When refreshed, the site comes up nicely. Is this FF specific or is it something wrong with the site coding??
Please suggest.

i like your site

clean and looks official

but

i don't think you should put that visitor count on the buttom

because it will only do harm nor help

if you have a high visitor count that might not affect you, but put it there now tho

i think you should make it invisible for now

until you get over >10,000 visitor then you get it back might be more effective

 

Nice site, easy to look around and read.

 

layout looks good, i dont like the guys shaking hands at the top.

 

Since a lot of experienced folks suggesting that, the counter is removed .. Zipp ... Gone!

I tried increasing the font, but it looks very bad and the page looks bad. I guess, the users will have to increase the text in their browsers ..
