The Big secret in all Internet marketing is the niche. No one will reveal the true niche that he is in to. Many of them just give used niches and niches that worked along time ago. After all if you new the niche than you bit him at is own game. The process to find a niche is simple in theory but requires some skills: Find a niche that have natural traffic (Keyword estimated , Google trends, Ebay pulse and etc ...) Choose a sub niche in that niche that you can master DON'T take a broad niche unless you have an army to conquers it. then just try and build you website,blog promote it and see, After all it's all trial and error.

hmmmm... my favorite niche is actually to do with cd/music/movie reviews.... it might not pay as well as some others... but i had so much good times doing it....
I like the football/soccer niche, might not be high paying in Adsense but when you get decent traffic there is a chance to make a few $$ a day from this niche.
Make a list of 10 topics you know about or like. Then check ad prices to see wich one pays best and make site about that
Niche is defined as high demand low supply ....but that may not be ideal for getting high click rates...you can have a site which does not fall in a conventional niche parameter but can give you a high return on clicks.

These are not niches. Insurance is not a niche. Budget car insurance for women over 50 is. You are talking about huge ass markets here.
Insurance is a niche, then it becomes sub niches then micro niches. Budget car insurance for women over 50 isn't a niche, thats specifically targetting some anchor text or in content text. Budget car insurance is a sub niche
Maybe I went over the top there but insurance is not a niche. Niche is a narrow segment of the market not covered by mainstream companies. I think there are bucket loads of insurance companies that do nothing but insurance. I guess I could double check with a professor of business economics here in Cambridge
Try to work on a niche that you liked most. Since you will be creating and updating your site for instance, working on a topic you are less interested in is a pain in the *ss.
