Best way to promote a new image uploading site?

    as i recently posted in another thread i just got a new image uploading site, and i wonder how i should advertise to get most people to start using my site.

    Use it yourself, post on forums, IRC channels, instant messengers, stick it at the bottom of all of your emails.

    If you work in an office environment like me, then you probably send funny images around via email daily.

    Why not watermark all those images with your site :)

    i tried watermarking but the users did not like it at all. i get around 35-50 visitors per day, im slowly growing but i want to help it to grow faster. i have sent it to google and all the major search engines. but i cant find it on any of them. aswell as using it for myself. how do that give the site more visitors, if there is no watermark?
