Hello, My website get over 1,000 clicks per day today i was checking something on my site & clicked on my own ad by mistake, am scared to be banned from adsense.What should I do? Should I mail them right now?
No biggie, happens. I've done it. lots of people have done it. Google says, no biggie, they expect an 'oops' every now n then.
When I did it I just dropped them an email and they said it'd be ok and they appreciated me informing them.
Inform them if you feel that will make you feel more at ease. But of course you should stay relax, this is really nothing to worry about.
yep, no need to inform them about it. Its just one click out of 1000 so u need not worry. However if u do it too many times, then you can search google for "report accidental click on adsense ads" and you will come across a form for informing adsense about your accidental click (just tick the accidental click option) They do get a lot of such mails from publishers and they dont really care much. Google can do track the click by you and they will not pay you for it. They will show the click in reports but will not pay you. SO there is nothing to worry about. Its has happened with me many times too. Hope i helped!
how many time you clicked? if it is once ow twice by mistake, you will probably get a warning from adsense saying that they detected invalid clicks and if it happens again, they will ban you. you don't have to let google know now but if you want, you can send them an email saying that you clicked once by mistake. make sure you give them exact date and time when the accidental click took place.
informing them is always good but as far as getting banned is concerned, they dont without giving serious warnings so chill man an have a blast with those 1000 clicks a day you will be soon a multimilinare
adsense has forms to fill out for this circumstance. You should fill it out just incase (esp if you're worried). Honestly they don't care, but it'll sure make you sleep better at night

I believe when I emailed them, they pretty much said no need to email us over thate But theres a handy place to do it if you'd like to set yourself at ease anyway
one click shouldnt be anything to worry about... in fact I think google would get angry at webmasters if we informed them of every single accidental click.. think of how many webmasters this happens to?
