PayPal Question

Hi just a quick question - It may be simple but PayPal is not my strong point.

I already have a paypal account connected to my hotmail email address, I'm in the process of making a new website offering a service and would like a new PayPal address for the payments, something like payments[at]domain.com.

If I add a new email address inside my current PayPal account would that be the solution?

Yes, it would be. Any one can pay you using any of the email addresses you registered with Paypal.

Say if you want to create a Buy Now button with a specific email address, what you need to do is to log in using that email address, ie payments[at]domain.com and create the button, this will encode that particular email address to the Buy Now button. That goes the same with the Request Money and Subscription options.

 

So say I have my current login as example[at]hotmail.com already, when I add another email address for my new site (payments[at]domain.com), when I want to check funds would I login using my hotmail or the new one?

I basically want to combine two different emails into the one account I have already.

You can make login with any account registered with your primary mail ID.

 

You can log in using any of your registered email address, the password are the same across the board. Any email address would have full access to your paypal account.

If you log in as payments[at]domain.com and generate a Buy Now button, that email address would receive the incoming funds alert.

yeah having multiple emails on your paypal won't be a problem, just have to confirm the emails that are sented to you

 

Yeah I did that so I think everything is working correctly, I'll run a test order just to make sure though
