lmfao thats a good one #13, I actually show my LP to my account manager beforehand just to check if everything is fine, and it doesn't arise issues in the future. If you have nothing to hide, then I don't see why you wouldn't show it, but that's just my opinion.

I've pondered that myself. The conclusion I came too, is that people enjoy the "entrance music" to his radio show, so they were going online trying to download it as a ringtone. Obviously Thumbplay can't secure the rights to it

Somebody was probably making a killing with 'Rush Limbaugh ringtones' and he probably sued them :)

You can always respond politely and say you prefer not to show your LP's for fear of the page getting copied/leaked etc...

But in the end I think they have the upper hand ...

Ask first nicely, if they insist comply or find another network not so nosy :p

NEVER NEVER show your landing pages OR traffic sources. If an offer requires to see them do not promote it. Networks and AM's know better, you do not have to show them anything as this is proprietary information which contributes to your revenues.

Just so you know I've had AM's flat out try to give me other affiliates landing pages and traffic sources if they were converting well so that I could use the same tactics to make even more money.

I know for a fact that they would happily give my best converting landing page designs to their other top affiliates if I wasn't using my trusty referrer blocking script.

You should show your LP to your AM if asked. Why not?

i didnt really think about it at the time. this thread just made me remember a few times. Ive never given my landing pages to any of my AM's.

Sometimes you have to though then you have no choice.

I never show my landing pages. I've had them ripped off too many times. Hide that referrer.

I agree here with RIM, but I first must say that some networks can already track your keywords and landing page if you don't protect yourself with some type of redirect script; IE clickbank.

I try to hide and cloak all my big sites, because honestly I don't trust any network. Be that said, I do think some AM do mean well, but can get caught up in the game also.

    GL guys and gals.
