Hey Mental, did you get unbanned? I saw ads on your site http://forum.ragezone.com when I read this thread. What did google said? Is it because of the iframe or the images?

 

i see the ads too. you have been reinstated? that's nice to hear.

I got unbanned, was due to the images which where miss directing users to click, so i advise users whom run a forum who do use image above any adverts which slightly make the ads look content, DONT. Google states that all content must be seen as advertisements, so also include the advertisement or sponsor strings, clearly show its actually an advert but whilst blending the content.

Yes, in the stats you linked to, we can see a very sudden traffic jump on January 18, one week before your first post about your AdSense banning for "invalid clicks", as usual. Indeed, probably this traffic jump flagged your account for a human review by the invalid clicks team.

What is notable is that in most cases they don't mention the exact banning reason, apart from the generic "invalid clicks" email. Is this your guess, or did they write you in a subsequent email specifically about the images?

If I remember correctly, your images were united to the ads without any separation or differentiation, that is without any border, space, line, or change of background color. It seems that you didn't know about the exact policies on this, and you corrected it after the banning.

Well your ads are well placed, infacted, its the best ive seen mixing content with adverts, but i am not really an expert with adsense, i make more than the average person but thats down to hard graft, SO i would advise you to make a new topic personally and have input but your layout was different to what i had used, as the image and the banner where actually linked unlike yours having a space and tables. (Sorry for rambling, just had an argument with girlfriend which has left me winded)

I know you took alot of crap from the same people around here that assume everyone is a cheater when they get banned, but it looks like you took mine and others advice and stuck to your guns and kept after google.

Personally I would contact Google about it. A lot of people have gone that route and always received an answer.

That way if there ever is an issue, you have proof they said it was OK...You won't be able to say SEODudde893 said it was ok

 

True. I just sent them an email.. I really hope it is cos I spent alot of time on that page (though it may not appear so )

 

I think you are fine seeing as how they are pretty generic pictures and they are divided away from the ad...but Google has the last word of course
