Why won't .info's be indexed faster than .com's?

I thought Google didn't care about the extension, or is that just when ranking sites for keywords?

I disagree, targeted quality, authority directories with high pageranks will get you indexed in no time plus boost youR PR as well.

I've never had trouble getting indexed. Usually before I have teh website where I want it it is already indexed. You could argue though that you should never open your doors unless you have everything exactly how you want it, but i've never had problems with Google regularly crawling my site or had problems getting indexed rather highly after doing some general link building.

I use a multi-faceted approach for quicker indexing of new, inner pages:

    • I submit it to some social bookmarking sites.
    • Sometimes I put it in my Digital Point signature.
    • And I always put a link to the new, inner page on my often-crawled, PR5 home page.

The main technique I've found for getting indexed in just a few hours is adding a simple one page feed to your regular html website (or using the built in one through WordPress.) Ping your latest update to Pingoat, Pingomatic, or Autopinger (if you have a regular site without a feed, there's no point pinging your site because these sites only alert blogging services - and your site needs to look dynamic like a blog, hence the need for a feed.) Also you can then subscribe to your own feed through your Google, Msn, and Yahoo accounts. This plus maybe social bookmarking at a few places (like Technorati; delicious; stumbleupon; Digg) and you'll be good to go.

For deep indexing of your site yes, having a sitemap helps. You can do a Google sitemap and submit it to Google or you can just do a manual one with links to your top directories. Both techniques work fine. Also if you're concerned about getting each page indexed, you can socially bookmark each page (save as a favorite) at Technorati. But first you'll need to "claim your blog" at Technorati - and if you have a regular html website you will need to create a simple feed to do this. Otherwise you won't be able to claim your site as a blog.
