I guess its ok that syrian soldiers can rape and rob houses up in the mountains of lebanon but when isreal does something then its a different story? Syria occupied lebanon for 15 years and hezbolla followers give them a throwing away party of major support when they leave? Isnt an occupier an occupier whether they are isreali or syrian? Or maybe the syrian soldiers get a green pass to do anything they want?

Using the same logic, a Syrian might say, its ok that Israel occupy Palestine but when Syria occupy Lebanon its different story.
Saddam might say, its ok that Israel occupy Palestine but when Iraq occupy Kuwait, its a different story.

and so on, occupation can't justify another occupation.

Rape, robbing and occupation are wrongs that must stop no matter who is doing them, we can argue a lot about Lebanon the civil war, and the Syrian military existence, there were many parties playing there and each has its own views about each of the issues, some called it occupation, others say they helped in keeping peace after civil war, they exchange accusations till now when they should take lessons from past so a civil war won't happen again, Syrian military existence ended in Lebanon, as the Iraqi occupation of Kuwait ended, its time for Israel to end its occupation.

Syria was in Lebanon because the Lebanese army wouldn't defend Israel from crossing the border,

I wonder if we can have more discussions on politics and religion proper rather than having news of killings and tons of threads on killings and posts accusing each others. Such threads seemed to result in sort of arguments and even more enmity.

I just want people to quit killing each other. Palestinians are accused of terrorism. But when you observe closely, you may conclude otherwise. News about what is happening on the ground, helps in understanding the ground reality vs what the MSM tells us.

i agree. we should talk about finding solutions. i know that it is very hard to get to that point. but this forum is a lot softer than a year ago.

There's only one force in the world who can do that but that force picked their side in that fight and not really interested in having fair peace.
    Prove me I am wrong.

True it is very true, pity that this happens. If a really fair and unbiased USA forced them to sit and negotiate I think peace will prevail.

Not sure about that. Heard that a few engineers had installed a hell of a airconditioning system there......a snowball can be possible but remote.....

Things may change, if an outsider managed to win the Presidential elections, all bets are off.

Not sure on that, surprised to see him banned, but here the mods will not reveal the reasons as it is personal in nature. Hope that his ban is short term and hope he will be back soon.

People are banned here all the time. Fact of life here on the p&r forums. Someone deemed his posts inflammatory or of a "personal attack" nature maybe.

Many people have gone missing and some of them are banned,
wisdomtool's buddy thraxed for example ;):D

Pity, they do provide some alternative views which makes discussions more interesting. But I saw their reputation icon intact meaning they should be back after serving their ban.

Sometimes in PR when the going gets exciting and tense, we tend to be too emotional and that heightens the danger of being banned. I try not to post on topics I deemed too sensitive and emotional to me.

I am not saying him, he is my buddy, and I respect him for his moderate stance on most matters.
