Automotive or Real Estate? Better in the sense that: 1- it pays more 2- it is more popular, that is more ppl would want to advertise in that niche. I think Real estate pays more. But I think automotive is more popuplar, hence the volume/price delima. What do you think?
I think that it is very hard to answer. Both topics have their slump time and up time. That said, I think that I will go for real estate. The automotive sector will be very difficult to break into. It will also be very difficult to find good ways of income from it. You will need to find good and reliable parts and dealer affiliates, which is very hard to find. I also think that most visitors to that niche are more interested in information than buying parts. Most will look at what works, what doesn't and what will compliment their car. After that, they will go to their own workshop nearby to have the fitted parts bought there. The real estate has a better chance, because you can find your own favourite salesmen or something like that and make a deal with them. Let's say 5% of every sale you make. The sales will be very limited, but depending on how much the house cost, it could be enough to last a few months. I also recommend that you look into land. Selling land could prove to be more powerful than house, depending on where you live. Well, that's just my humble opinion. I would go for real estate. But the most important thing is to build trust and your own brand, which is very very difficult and takes a long time.
repp'd - thanks for the detailed answer. What I am looking for is to open an informative site. No buying no selling. Just good content. And it should be a fairly large site covering a wide range of topics within that niche.
In simple words i would say every thing is inter-related. You should select a niche that you are comfortable with and have lots of knowledge about so that topics on which you write dont get over soon . If you select a niche and write without knowing about it, you will loose your readers. So there is no specific niche that you will earn more, its all about your talent. You can earn large money on any niche (advertisers are there in every niche) and the advertisers will select your site/blog only if you have many visitors/readers and a good page rank which is related to your popularity. Also if you select a popular niche you will surely have to work hard to get on your feet coz already it will be filled with lakhs of experienced people and you will have to stand in queue till they get retired
Automotive can also fetch you money, for providing advice to customers, or may be marketing of parts that are not available in local market available
real estate seems to be the winner. Both are competitive, but I think the automotive industry seems to be the more competitive.
I think if u can fool people than automotive can pays u more it all need luck and language to impress yr CUSTOMER and make money as much as u can..
I would go with automotive...more popular, I guess (and of course, maybe more competitive, but it's a such huge market that everyone can have a share).
Both niche are popular. Every site can drive you earnings whatever the niche is if you get the exact method to drive traffic that turns to conversion.
