Help me! Wire Transfer From Usa To India ICICI bank!

Dear Friends,

I want to get paid by a US company through wire transfer in my icici bank account. Please tell me What details i must give to them for getting money in my account.

Typically, it would be

1) Your Name (as listed in the bank account)
2) Bank account Number
3) Bank Name
4) Bank Branch Name / Number
5) Bank Address
6) Bank Phone Number
7) Bank Fax Number
8) Bank SWIFT and Routing Number
9) Intermediary Bank Name
10) Intermediary Bank Routing / SWIFT Number

Best is to ask the US Company what details they need and then go to your bank and ask them for the details.

The only thing I want to say, probably in India we call ABA Routing/Swit Code as Sort Code.
And you can get that clling your bank.

i think its better to contant the bank for all the info so that you can be sure all the infos are 100% correct.... dont take any chance when it comes to money....

ICICI has direct one and they have their branches in US too.

 

Well you don't need to give more information. Just send an account number only with your name. They already have bank barnches in USA. Check more information:

I agree, they have all the information on their site only!

 

Don't make the assumption that because they have an office in the US, that it has full banking services there.

I am using UOB Bank in Singapore and there is a US office but they still use the JP Chase Manhattan Bank as intermediary bank. It seems the same with ICICI .

 

Its not based on assumption, its based on my own experience mate!
