    Ctr means the click through rates. In other words, how many people actually clicks on the advertisement once they discover your page. :)

    There is no "normal" CTR. Some sites will never achieve a high CTR, but some will. Low CTRs are in the .5% - 5% range. Average are in the 5%-15% range. and high CTR's can easily range up to 70%.

    If your CTR is low it means that you are not getting the right kind of visitors to your site, your ads are not relevant to your content or to your visitors' interests, your ads are not placed to be seen and clicked easily, your visitors are mostly repeat visitors who have become "ad blind", or your site topic is doesn't attract visitors who are likely to click ads (i.e., technical or webmasters).
