Hello guys ,
anybody can help me . I want to know about meta tags .
what is meta tags ? please give me answer with example . I want to know full knowledge about meta tags . please give me answer simple language or Hindi language . I am waiting for your positive reply .

 

Meta elements can be used to specify page description, keywords and any other metadata not provided through the other head elements and attributes.
So basically you tell the search engine what's on your with few words
Ex:
<meta name="keywords" content="web design, tutorials"/>

There are several meta tags to be used but the Title, Description and the Keywords meta tags are still being widely used by the webmasters.

Remember that Matt Cutts JUST said that Google does NOT use the Meta tag in there algorithm. Just a little FYI for those that didn't hear. Doesn't mean the others don't though....
