How often one should submit indes.html (Home Page) to Google to get all pages indexed so as to get better results in SERPS?
Also if you need to ensure deep indexing of your site (you want every page indexed) claim your blog at Technorati. If you have a WordPress blog you just enter your info there and place a bit of code on your website and then you can go back to Technorati and socially bookmark (save as favorites) each page of your site. This is worth doing with a new site to get everything indexed. Or if you have a regular html site (not a blog) add a simple one page feed page and then you can claim your site as a blog at Technorati. You'll still need to place a bit of code on your website and confirm it at Technorati. Then you can still save each page of your site (just save each url of each individual page as a favorite) and you'll get deeper indexing of your site. Jennifer
How often should you submit index.html? Never, you shouldn't even have an index.html URL. As for the main domain, same again never Google will crawl and find you. I think 2003 was about the last time i submitted anything to a search engine.
you don't need to submit at all. whether you submit your site once or 100 times a month its not going to increase your rankings. i have not submitted a site in two years i just build them, add them to my forum sig and add a sitemap for them in my webmaster tools account. never takes more then a week usually less and my site is index, rankings usually start to follow a week or two later.
Many people no longer even use the manual submission method for the new websites. Search engines can automatically find the new websites by links pointing to them.
Just submit one time. Then add new content + build back links in order to improve search results ranking.
Don't use the submitter with any of the serps. It is best to get index by them finding your site through backlinks. I like to add a stiemap link on my index.html page and let the bots find my pages that way.
If you can not find yr site although you have many back links for your website, than you need to submit your sitemap once in Google.
