I have made a blog recently one of the below mentioned i have enough refferal traffic from social bookmarking sites but i'm looking for some good traffic from google search engine or yahoo will also work. but how?
Do proper onpage and offpage optimization, don't wait and start getting good back links for your site,
Naturally, if your page is highly optimized for seo, you will eventually rank for certain searched keywords in Google. What happens is that some competitors already have their ranks in the top for those searches. You either need to choose not very hot searched words and that would be quite easier to get on top for Google for those keywords or wait and establish good backlinks, and deep links to your articles and your rank for certain keywords will increase by time. If we know how, we would be all millionairs I guess, it's one million question, and it requires lot of work and time, and I have not achieved it yet, but I managed to get a better rank in 2-3months even though, its not the first page, nor the second. So be patient.
when you are talking with optimize page it consider a result on your work including having a nice number of quality link, if your site isnt optimize therefore it never earned quality links.
your blog is new so it take some time but in meantime u can write some good post submit it to social bookmarking sites like digg, reddit....which can drive some traffic..
If you are not good at SEO you will find it difficult due to the niches you have chosen. Credit, Weight Loss & Loans are competitive areas so produce lots of unique text content and strive for long tail traffic as a first step.
I think this is the best thing that you can do.. get as many quality backlinks for your site.. b'coz it will help your site rank in SERP.. then eventually traffic will come next..
Yes, backlinks are very important. It's important to make those backlinks effective like this: 1) Research your keywords well and use the chosen ones as the "anchor text" in those backlinks. 2) Be sure that your page to which those backlinks are pointing is well optimized in its strategic use of those chosen keywords — for example, in the title tag and nicely sprinkled throughout the page, among other things.
Start reading up on SEO and began experimenting with niche websites where there is less competition. If you want buy a bunch of .Info websites and find a cheap shared hosting account to put them all on. Than you can experiment with them and learn a lot about ranking through firsthand experience. Keywords like free credit reports have millions of results in Google and will probably take an experienced SEO expert at least one year to rank for. Try something less competitive and once you get #1 for that you can consider trying to rank for the competitive terms.
