Special symbols in title and description

    Hello

    what is you opinion of using special symbols (hearts, stars, diamonds, etc) in description and title of a webpage? I think it really makes the page stand out in the SERPs but Im not sure if google is friendly toward such symbols

    No, don't use them. Your better off using the (-) or (_) as a delimiter only. Most people do not click on these search results and you "hardly" ever see them in the top ten for any respectable keywords or keyword phrases.

    Most of the engines will not display any of these characters anyway except for © and ™ and ®

    Well, it actually depends on which character encoding is being used when the file is saved, and whether or not it matches the HTTP headers that the server sends out...
