What should I wear?

Hey folks.. Photographers are coming to my data center today to take pictures of myself and the facility for some feel good PR for Time Warner. We are the largest TW customer in our region. They have done some interviews with me about the services we buy and what we do here.

That said, should I wear a suit/tie? Casual, what? Thoughts? I want to seem professional as this is going in several trade publications and magazines, but at the same token, I still want to convey the casual environment that we have here. No one here wears a suit and tie on a regular basis. We are laid back and casual.

Thoughts, opinions? Do I Steve Jobs it, or Bill Gates it?

    Thanks!

I've got plenty of denim, and all I wear are T's.. Not sure if I own a blazer... I wear Sketchers almost exclusively when not at the gym, so that would be the extent of my nice shoes..

    Anyone else?

Either a suit or a blazer over a cool shirt and jeans.

Denims + a golf tee with a colour smooth to the eye. Although the reporters would keep the camera's focus in such a way that your clothes would hardly be noticeable.

It is up to you and the look you want to project to others. Dress up if you are behind a formal business, be fashionable if your business is trendy or casual if it is more focused on people who identify with your look in any case [IMG]

This is what Robert Marsh (head of EVI) posed with years ago for their ads... It looked professional, but maybe too professional?

Suit, no tie, top buttons of shirt undone. Little more formal than smart casual.

Just beat up the interviewer and take his clothes. It will show everyone just how strong your security system is.

So I went with a Purple Silk collared shirt, top and bottom buttons opened, sleeves rolled slightly. That and some Boot fit narrow leg Levis, plain denim. Shirt untucked. And a pair of sketchers that look like bowling shoes! The photographer was cool and took like 200 pictures.. Insane!!!

Got some sitting at my desk, working, in the server room, by my company logo up at reception. It will be interesting to see them in print. I have no idea what is going to be used or when.

    Stay tuned!

    Thanks for the suggestions!

I guess to look like a professional person you need to wear a suit and a tie will work good for you. Proper crisp will be added to your personality. :)
