Payment Conversion Stuff Up?

    Just checked my payment details and alas adsense did not convert to Australia dollars... and payment has been proccessed as the same amount in USA dollars and Australian dollars... and it should convert to a higher amount for Australia dollars...

    My question? Can someone offer me the correct email address so I can notify adsense accounts... thanks,

    Samething happened to me! I have already contacted them. On the payment details page at the bottom there is a "Write to us" link. Go there and follow the steps.
    Glad to see that I wasn't the only one!

    I wonder if this will start mass emailing to adsense and if only conversion to Australian dollars accounts were effected... I did ask if this means my payment cheque will be delayed... as the last couple of months it has arrived on the 25th of the month ... whereas before that my cheques would arrive on the 8th on the month...

    Was your conversion dollar for dollar? WOW what a major stuff up to say the least...

    Just got a email from my British friend and the same thing for him... however, he wins with the conversion unlike me who losses... alas... come Monday morning and heads will roll...

    i'm sure they've noticed their OOPS by now and adjustments will/have been made.

    IF NOT: i'll be converting back to US dollars and letting my bank do the conversion. :)

    Oh, I was just coming to post about the same thing. I've been trying to check the value of the Australian vs American dollar & on Friday the Australian dollar was worth .71 US cents. I've been paid around $200AU less than I expected. Definitely looks like a stuff up to me.

    I usually calculate what I'm going to receive based on $1AU being .75 US cents.

    Julia... with the great conversion rate over the last couple of days... from US and Australian dollars - hopefully it will stay that way when adsense corrects the stuff up...

    Yes, I hope so too. I was thinking of requesting my cheque to be sent in US dollars & sitting on it until the rate is really good, then banking it. But for the money I earn (not that much) by the time I've paid bank fees to cash the cheque it wouldn't be worth it.

    In my adsense account it always displays everything in US dollars (even under "payment sent"). When my cheque arrives it is for the larger amount converted to AU $.

    When I see the "payment" thing it has the earnings there in US dollars but when I click on the actual link it shows the US earnings & then it has: "Amount of Payment in Local Currency" followed by the AU figure.

    I received the payment in GBP direct to my bank account. Had no problems. Am a little disappointed I didn't get the USD figure in GBP. ;P
