Where to sell website concept?

Is there any website where we can sell our concept of website?

I have many concept for website (the concept that I can't use myself as they takes a lot of money to make customised program and my plan is also not making 1000's websites but only 2 and I have completed my first concept).

I am not planning to sell just whole website concept but also facebook mods and many other small tools for websites that makes user happy.

Is there any place to sell those?

I don't think such a site exists and it is hard to put a price on a concept. If you have no intentions of ever producing the website then you might share with those close to you who have the funds to do so. Otherwise, I would just hold onto it because you could potentially use it in the future.

 

Imagination and reality are really far from each other. I have like 100 unique concepts but the problem is how many of them are reasonable and can really pay off

 

i have some concept which I think every one can understand..My one concept is related to only one country.. that mean other country users won't have anything to see in that website.And this concept is related to social development (not social networking) and more than profit owner should look at how many problems are solved.

This website is too much effective in third world countries.

 

I recently thought of a really good concept so I brought the related domain, in paint made a simple uncoded template and uploaded it onto the domain, it only cost be $8 to make and I sold it in the BST section for $30.

 

Nice idea but my one takes a lot money as well, I don't know about PHP very nicely.

 

concept is good, its a kind of social networking. very profitble to website owner.. all the best

As Olgi said, there is a huge difference between imagination and reality.

 

I can undersatand this but I am also trying to say that I want people to buy concept if they only liked it and not if they don't understand or don't like the concept.

 

The problem with revealing concepts online is that somebody might easily use it and claim it to be their own ( unless you had it legally done)

You could try your luck here in the BST too, as well as in the offline world, but success ultimately depends on how good your concept is.

its often hard to sell even a site implementing a great concept if it yet has no revenue or seo etc.

 

Maybe you don't have to start 1000s of fully functional websites, just enough to show how it works. Or...hey maybe an ebook?

scriptaty, you have several options.

1. Write an ebook and sell @ non-exclusive price and unique price.
Non-exclusive price mean your concept can be sold repeatedly to different customers.
unique price mean your customer have unique right for it.

Off course, you will need several tools.
- Tool to create ebook. Try to make a search on hotscripts.com or download.com and you will find the best that meet your requirement.
- Shopping cart. You can use oscommerce, install several mods and convert the shopping cart to download store.

For marketing, you can offer 5-10 free ebooks to get the ball rolling.

2. Don't sell your concept yet. Why not use your concept and start a new site? Register an account with scriptlance.com and let the programmers bid. You can always sell them later even you don't have traffic if your site business model is good.

If you think you have good ideas for websites that people can use to make huge websites and have a lot of traffic with, then come up with an ebook full of those ideas and sell the ebook.
