I officially declare this FAKE! 5 months old. No Alexa rank. 2 Backlinks. FAKE! Plus how can you make $1.6m in 2 weeks? Think. 2k could have been reasonable but he doesn't have any traffic.

First I thought the blog was for real written by a 10 yo boy who is dreaming ... sincerely I met people like that. After reading the disclaimer I laughed a lot ... and realized the blog post was really useful.

Really some people need to rethink themselves. No common sense at all.

It was a meaningful parody, though I thought the Bush part was a bit too exaggerated .. and the Bill Gates part too.

I think some people have nothing better to do than post in threads without reading them just to increase their post counts. This is shameless, not the self promotion (that in fact does not exist, given the blog is not monetized).

PS: BTW, RectangleMan are you Labrocca over at NP (same avatar). Found out, yes, by searching the brandable 5L showcase thread there. BTW, Alex here... how stupid I am, you even write your name on blog posts .. Jesse Labrocca, ok gotta be more attentive.

It is so sad that some people would even want to buy it if you would promote it more. Also, buying an island ... LOL .. I very rarely laugh loud when I am alone, but you made that ....

The funniest part is that people would stop by here trying to argue that it is impossible ... probably this is the saddest thing.

My advice for those that did this: Get a life.

 

Thanks Talkie...and yes it's me. As I been saying ...some of you get it. I also love the replies here ...it's obvious people do not think when either reading blogs or posting at forums. So many of the replies here seem as if they haven't read beyond the first post.

The blog is an OBVIOUS parody imho. Sadly you need a bit of reality for a parody to work. How often have we read these crazy self-promotion posts about how much money some blog has made that upon investigation shows it's worthless. So I was inspired a couple days ago to make this and see the reaction. I can almost guarantee that eventually it will be farked or some crazy social bookmark site. I look forward to my server grinding to a halt. I might monetize the site but not with any ad system. I might just directly sell links and banner ads. The traffic on the site is certainly increasing but it's only been two days.

The site is part parody part experiment. I really wanted to see what type of reaction the site received. It's been mixed but for me it's been a lesson.

I also wanted to poke fun at some blogs like ShoeMoney's (though I really respect him). Blogging as an industry is just so weird. What started off as daily diaries and journals has now become worth millions (possibly billions) of income for various individuals and companies. I must admit..I don't really understand it fully.

I plan to make more posts on the site. I will continue to parody things I see in the blogger world.

Detection of fake is very easy, even you are good with photoshop but you're not perfect.

So you are right....it is grey (#333333). I use an LCD with a mediocre contrast...it's bright too.
