Seriously...who buys Ebooks?

1. They all say the same thing: MAKE MONEY BY WORKING 1 HOUR A WEEK!!!. Yea, right.

2. They all look like shit. http://www.therichboy.com/ (seriously, get a new design, rich boy). I automatically close websites that have those designs.

Do YOU buy these things?

I sell a lot of such ebooks, so I know there are always fools who want to make money the easy way !!
And I agree that there are lot of copycat books - just shows the lack of creativity in Internet Marketing.

 

there are a few high quality ebooks u can buy from amazon at a fraction of the cost of the real book. (as long as you don't mind the eyestrain!)

 

I think the e-book industry is for the most part overrun with garbage. Just my opinion.

Very true. I have tried selling a few but there are just so many copies of the same thing tha it is hard to do so. Most are lame and filled with vague ideas.

 

Why do they all look the same design? Can't webmasters create another DESIGN for selling the EBOOK?

 

The get rich quick niche is annoying.

But ebooks are worthwhile if they sell valuable nuggets of information that cannot be found in a book at a bookstore. Embarrassing topics, tiny niche topics, etc. work well.

I agree there is too much junk.

 

I hate those ones with all the highlighted text and big fonts and weird colors. I'm writing an Ebook now, and when I post it, it will be on my blog and look the same as every other post. It will most likely be free, too.

There are e-books that aren't related to get rich quick. I've bought programming e-books before. O'Reilly makes some good ones.

 

There are also great SEO ebooks. And Perry Marshalls adwords ebook is a real treasure.

I am very for ebooks, if they're worthwhile. But yes too much junk out there.

Narrow page sales copy with big headlines, colorful text, pictures...people are using it because its PROVEN to work.

I won't even talk about how much I make per month, because you honestly Won't believe me. And I understand why...you aren't at the right maturity level to understand that some things aren't "logical" and some things Just Plain WORK.

So Please, save your baby-ass talk for someone else. Honestly I see more threads on DP that are purely created to Talk Shit about someone else's hustle...
