how does the rate system work ??

hello , since i came here (like 2-3 days ) i got a red reputation .

i dont know how this system work , i received red reputation because i used to tell people stuff that they dident mention especialy in the sell/buy forum .

like site not cached , duplicate contents , site banned , content from other sites taken etc ...

and of course people were not happy 2 see my posts because they wont sell there sites with those reality .

yesterday it was -3 today its -6 lol

what is this mess ? why people can give red reputation like this ? when does the reputation get green again ? does the reputation get initiated to zero after a while ?

 

You need not give much importance to the reputation ... There are some folks here who just enjoy giving red .. It does not mean anything .

 

well if u have bad reputation u cant post in the sell forum .

The sell/buy forum shouldnt be based on reputation , it should be based on itrader .

 

I agree. I can't for the life of me understand the reputation function. It doesn't seem to have any sense of fairness behind it. Anyone can anonymously wreck someon'es reputation oin this forum for no reason at all, and there is nothing that you can do about it. It would probably be more fair if the rater could not hide. Sort of like how eBay does it.

rule #1 about rep: don't post rep threads

 

More red reps means you have lot to improve and you are doing something wrong here. Majority forum members come here to learn and get up to date information.

Learn from mistakes, try your best to make your contribution to DP a usuful one. It is not the best idea to post a new thread everytime you get a red rep. Reputation will eventually get green if forum members find your doing a good job here.

yes this is what happening ... it's just to show that this system worse nothing and that posting in the sell/buy/trade shouldnt be based on this system .

It should rather be based on the E-trader .

Just quit posting here about what you want, etc.
Just post good information that others can enjoy.
The green reps will follow you.

The more you whine about red rep, can't post in sell forums, etc. the more red rep you will accumulate.

 

The mods odnt enforce it a lot of red rep sellers if u check.

Anyways makin these threads will just give u more red rep.

i really don't care about red , what i care is that the red shouldn't affect were i can post or were i cant .

anyone who got problems with his wife , got problems from work , had any type of angry can give me red if it will make him feel better

Make it look better, get rid of those huge adsense ads.
Why does everyone get a directory and load them up heavy with adsense ads with a simple adsense link ad is so much better>

yes i will get rid of the huge adsense .. i'm just waiting till the directory get higher pr since i linked it from the main wich is pr 6 .
