Maybe school would be a good option for you, 50 * $5 = $250, not $500. And in case you didn't realize, there is a limit to the amount of people who want crap logos. I can't imagine you would find 18,000+ people who want crap logos to give you enough work for a year.

The brings me back to about 2 years ago when I hung out with this crowd. Let me tell you, there is alot of talent in this little group of young internet nerds. The only problem though is that there were so many petty squables over dumb things. Yes they are talented, but many are very immature, I'm sure I was sometimes too. I however decided I didn't want to do that whole internet nerd stuff anymore though, it isn't good for your street cred lol

Damn. Everybody is hating on this kid when he's doing something positive with his life. $500 a month, good for him. Just say good job and keep it moving.

I see "13 year old marketing genius" or 18 year old cracks the code, stuff like that all over. I was thinking of "creating" my own little fictional tycoon for marketing purposes. Or maybe "18 year old former 'nerd' has orgy in parents basement! Learn his secrets!"

I'm in my 30's. I wish I started at such a young age. Genius or not, still inspiring.

I wouldn't do that. Being young means go out there and have fun with friend and do something stupid so your parents can take responsibility of it. Why the hell you want to force your kid sitting around the computer all day long like you and kill his youth?

I agree all the way to the last part. If you can't figure out why someone would write an ebook and share a profitable secret you need to consider it further.

Tbh i think its BS - i've no doubt that kid probably has some superior knowledge compare to his direct age peers, however based on his website, affiliate defined, it just looks like one of those age old, pointless turnkey websites attempting to make a quick buck! Probably find the article was posted on 1st April - they call it fools day for a reason lol

Jeez - this topic really does seem to have got plenty of people heated up. I'm kind of surprised... good on any kid that's making a bit of money online - sure beats all the stuff I did to try to earn some pocket money, such as paper rounds, or cutting hedges or digging gardens!

And in fact, when you think of it like that, kids everywhere have been doing what they can to earn a little bit extra for decades - it's just that the options these days are potentially a lot more lucrative!

Having said that, though, it's also a known fact that too many kids spend waaaaay too much time online rather than getting out, enjoying the fresh air, playing and exercising. Perhaps all these teenage 'gurus' will end up sick by the time they're forty.... :-(

He's a genius because 'he created' (?) an ebook which states that he's a genius for making so much money selling an ebook?

It's just a marketing angle for an ebook (which has worked because it's got you posting about it on a forum filled with his target market). The same way the rich jerk did it, the same way there's ebooks about how to make money written by single mothers, pensioners, and the hundreds of them written by 'the guy who quit his day job because he was making so much money through the internet'. It's all just a marketing angle, trying to differentiate themselves and at the same time relate to their target market through circumstance.
