What's up with Yahoo Search?!?!

I submitted my blog to Google and Yahoo like a month or so ago, using their Webmaster Options. I'm getting great results from Google, but Yahoo is giving me about 1-5 visitors a day.......What can I do to increase the visitors from Yahoo ???

People generally not going to use Yahoo for search more,
And some times which keyword you are targeting for those you are getting traffic through google but yahoo may not show your listing on those particular keywords.
Forget more visitors from yahoo side.

Yahoo can also get you good traffic, but it takes a bit longer to get Yahoo traffic, maybe their indexing process works slower.

You just need to wait for 6 months or so to get good traffic from Yahoo. Meanwhile enjoy the traffic from Google ;)

It's typical to get only a fraction of your traffic from Yahoo.

The reason you are not getting much traffic from you might be two fold:

    1. Your blog is not ranked well in yahoo (yet).
    2. Even though your blog is ranked nicely, people are not using yahoo all that much ;)

I am on page 1 for my sites for both search engines and I get a very small number of visitors from yahoo.. For me it's google all the way :)

I think it really takes time before you appear in Yahoo SERPs.

Yahoo's bot certainly crawl like crazy, but Yahoo sends me 1/10th the traffic Google does.

Optimize for Google, and hope Yahoo comes around...

You get less people from yahoo due to the fact less people are searching on yahoo. The ratio of traffic will probally be the same for both.

It's great that you are getting some good traffic from google, but you should remember
that you probably will not receive as much traffic from yahoo as you are receiving from
    google.

Google shows the most relevant results so the majority of people will rely on google.
