Site: Sour Customs URL. www.SourCustoms.com Description: I've been running this site for about half a year now and the last few months I haven't been doing anything, just letting it sit there. I'm losing interest in anything related to marketing and I'd like to focus my attention strictly on web development. The site sells templates for $5 each, all of which are beautifully created with optimal AdSense placement for highest CTR % possible. Traffic: The site doesn't get much traffic, maybe about 6-12 uniques a day. But that's only because I've done ZERO marketing for it (asides from putting it in my signature). Back when I used to still post here, traffic would spike up to 40-60 uniques/day. Once again, still no marketing. All of the traffic at the moment is from Google. The site's ranked #1 for "proxy layouts" and jumps around the for "proxy templates", at the moment it's at #7. Someone with more SEO experience could certainly make a lot more if they managed to get #1 for some good keywords; which shouldn't be too hard considering you don't have much competition. Templates: All of the templates are created by me and you're granted rights to do anything you'd like to them. Each template is extremely easy to configure and has possibly the best CTR % of any other template, not to mention they look very nice. There pretty much aren't a lot of templates out there that are any better than mine (not to sound cocky). I used to create unique templates as well and they'd ALWAYS sell out. I've sold for up to $50 because they're that good. I also get LOTS of requests to do independent contracting for personal templates. When it comes to proxy templates, I know what I'm doing. Additional info: Sourcustoms.com has been featured in a few popular proxy eBooks (don't remember which). One of the templates is used by www.OCRig.com (#2 for "proxy" . The site sold for $7,500!). I've also had a template used by proxy-guru Vadym (www.ZedProxy.net) and he certainly knows his stuff. Final notes: Don't expect any sales at the moment simply because the site hasn't been marketed by me at all. It really has great potential because these are some of the best proxy templates money can buy. Not to mention they're only $5. And if you'd like, I'll even provide instructions and tips on creating proxy templates so you can keep adding onto the site or just sell them exclusively. Sold already but I'm starting to regret it. The guy's been banned and he's been bidding on sites like crazy according to his posts. Hopefully I'll be able to get the domain back from GoDaddy if he does try to reverse the payments.
