hey guys, some days before, one guy from this forum wanted me to do a small job for him regarding Wordpress. And so i asked him to send me 30$ via paypal, but he had no paypal and so he asked em to have an egold account of anyone. So i asked one guy from this forum named, "HURLEY" to give his eGold number to me,so that i can get tht 30$ to his egold first and then he can transfer that 30$ back to my paypal..

But atlast after a day,the guy said em to give a refund,as he doesnt need the work anymore. But,i got stuck in the MIDDLE!!!

Neither that HURLEY came online or mailed me,nor is he responding to my offline messages.

Now that 1st guy is thinking that,i have scammed him for that mere 30$.
    LOL!!

I said him directly that,i have not got the payment from that guy.

So i gave him one solution to place a dispute against that guy in eGold,so that he can get the refund back.

But he says,he cant do that..
    Now what shall i do??
    Kindly suggest me..
And why should i scam him for mere 30$. I already have 12 iTraders with great Satisfied customers from DP only.
But he is not ready to listen that and he is bent on asking money from me.
When i have not received a penny from that 2nd guy, then from where shall i bring the money.
    Thanks..

    SUGGESTIONS PLZ...

U selected this guy "Hurley" and now u got scammed by him,so i think u r responsible for your own trade and u should refund other guy.

It's your responsibility considering you trusted a random person. These things happen. Just refund the $30 so you can keep your reputation in good standard.

i agree your client needs a refund so just take it on the chin and give it to him - maybe then he'd be more willing to file a clain agaisnt your "middle man" and if successful your customer can refund you?

You should just go ahead and pay the guy, take this as a lesson learned

I call it a $30 dollar lesson learned... You're lucky it wasn't for $3,000... I suspect your itrade points are more valuable than $30 bucks so I'd just refund right away and forget about it...

In this scenario you have no clue who is scamming you... Is it Hurley, who supposedly got the payment scamming you and not handing over the cash OR did Hurley NOT receive the payment from this guy?

Could even be the same person... who knows?

I think you should just give a refund... that's the easiest way to go about it I think.

I couldn't understand why you chose that middleman without knowing him properly
It was your risk,so the client shouldn't suffer for it.You just refund him the mere $30 in anyway.
The other thing, you don't have Egold account and the buyer don't have paypal account, here you can do 2 things-either make an Egold account or refuse the proposal.
I think you got a good lesson and you just thank to God that it cost only $30.

Its your responsibility. In legal terms, there are 2 separate contracts here
First contract is between you and your client
Second contract is between you and HURLEY (the middleman)

Just because your counterparty in the second contract failed to honour the contract, you cannot take it as an excuse to refrain from honouring the first contract.
